The body is made of aluminium and the cantilever is made of white ceramic with super elliptical nude diamond, with price less than SGD 1,000. The first model introduced by Charisma to the market, now is Alpha version. The body is made of aluminium, cantilever is made of titanium, with a super fine line contact nude diamond. The design of Charisma MC Two Alpha is similar to MC One Alpha, but using sapphire cantilever so it gives more details and elegant sound. Sound approach is same as the ECO and MC One Alpham but can give more refinement and details.

Charisma MC-M is specially design for the user who needs higher output (0.75mV @ 3.54 cm/s), e.g. the tube pre-amp which is usually has lower gain, or the photo stage gain is not high). The Charisma Musiko Tonearm is a medium mass tonearm. Unlike most uni-pivot tonearms, which use silicone to stabilize and damp the tonearm, the Musiko uses a ring magnet. It does not invite the mess of silicone fluid and has much better stability and control. Furthermore, the magnetic damping system is adjustable. It can accommodate most moving coil and moving magnet cartridges on the market. It does not come with a tonearm cable. Any tonearm cable with a standard female DIN connecter can be used. Internal wiring and male DIN plug are made by Cardas. As the socket for tonearm cable is at the behind location, the tonearm can sit on a custom made armboard on the turntable plinth to use as a second tonearm. This is good for the user who want to add one more tonearm to play one more cartridge e.g mono playback.

The Charisma Musiko Turntable and Muskio Junior turntable are based on a sandwich-type plinth. The top and bottom layers are made of acrylic and the middle layer is made of Baltic wood with real wood veneer. The feet are made of Sorbothane. Sorbothane is a proprietary viscoelastic polymer which is a very effective acoustic damper and absorber. With a very high damping coefficient, it combines shock absorption, good memory, vibration isolation and vibration damping characteristics. While many other materials exhibit one of these features, Sorbothane combines them all in a stable material with a long fatigue life over a very wide temperature range. The Charisma Musiko Junior turntable is a new model which has a smaller size than the Charisma Musiko turntable. So it’s very fit to the system which has less space for the turntable. The round corners also give a credit to the beautiful stylish look.

The turntable platter is made of Acetal Copolymer. This is an engineering thermoplastic polymer that provides good strength and stiffness. We found it to be a better material for turntable platters than resin or acrylic.
The bearing shaft is made of stainless steel and the bearing well is brass. They are fabricated with high precision and have a tight fit with extremely smooth operation. Our bearing shaft has a recessed portion in the middle. This allows more bearing oil to lubricate the shaft in order to reduce friction.
The motor is a 12V DC motor with speed adjustment. It is a motor of very high quality, with very quiet and smooth rotation. The platter is driven by a 0.004”-diameter polyester filament belt. The arm board is made of acrylic, the same material as the top layer of the plinth.
